The Cloud Collective had a wonderful evening at the ARN awards last Thursday, 19 September 2019 at Sydney’s Hyatt Regency, celebrating success and innovation across the technology industry. We were very excited to be nominated for a total of four award categories: Digital Transformation, Collaboration, Smart Technology and our very own Jason Yang from Antares was nominated for Technical Excellence for the work he completed with UNSW creating Question Bot.
The evening began with us running into a few old friends within the industry, including our friends at Microsoft. After we were seated, Pip Marlow (previous Managing Director at Microsoft, and newly appointed CEO of Salesforce A/NZ) gave a very interesting and highly inspiring speech. Pip spoke about Susan Searle (President of IDG Communications) and how she has influenced her over her career. Susan helped shape the IT Industry across 3 countries and helped create an environment where competitors can come together to create a community. After Pip’s speech, we enjoyed a delicious dinner and drinks, and very soon it was time for the winners to be announced…
We are very proud to say that we won the award for Collaboration in the Partner Value category! ARN has stated that “this award recognises multiple partners working together to deliver customer value.” We are especially thrilled to take home the prize for this category, considering our key value proposition stems from us being collaborative by nature. Indeed, the Collective is a collaborative alliance whereby each business works together seamlessly to deliver outstanding results for our customers.
But don’t take our word for it! According to ARN “Cloud Collective won this award for the creation of a strategic alliance comprising three Microsoft Gold partners…operat(ing) under one commercial arrangement to provide enterprise customers with end-to-end capabilities across the modern workplace, business applications, data, AI, applications and infrastructure.”
We would like to congratulate all the other award winners, especially our friends at Dicker Data and Exclusive Networks (both Quorum suppliers), and of course Microsoft, who also all won awards on the night.
It was a sensational evening and we were honoured to be able to take home an award and celebrate the achievements of our industry. It was especially exciting to be recognised for the collaborative partnership we have created as the Cloud Collective. Thank you to ARN Channel News for a great night.
